Balmer Egged in Hungary
Ballmer egged in Hungary by ZDNet's Larry Dignan -- Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer was egged at a Hungarian University and had to take cover under a desk. The find, via CNET’s Matt Asay, is crazy. Ballmer took it in stride, but makes you wonder. What if this guy had something much worse than eggs on him? In any case, it’s worth a view.

Mason's New Bike

We went to the local bike shop (Benidorm Bikes in Canton, CT) and allowed him to pick out any one of the pre-owned (pre-loved?) bikes there.
He passed over 10- and 18-speed bikes for a simple single-speed BMX bike. The price? $10 -- couldn't be beat!
He's happy, we're happy, and we won't feel so bad when his latest growth spurt makes this bike too small once again.
Mac OS X Desktop as the new media?
This must've taken a gazillion years to do, but this guy has made a song by "The Bird and The Bee" into a video using nothing but a shot of his computer screen. Amazing, expect a similar commercial from Apple once it hits the big-time:
