I'm totally stoked that my super-deluxe-royale-with-cheese version of Office arrived today! What does this Expression Media app do, you say? It's like iPhoto.
Well not really at all like iPhoto other than it has shows thumbnails of photos like any photo application does. What it does do is manage catalogs of images or other media including documents like PDFs, etc. It is designed for people with large amounts of "rich media assets", many of which may be really really big (100s of megabytes) and some of which may actually be stored on optical media and not immediately accessible (e.g. archives). While there are photo manipulation functions, Expression Media is for media management rather than editing.
