Groovin'

Have you had a chance to listen to Q-Tip's "Kamaal the Abstract" album? According to Wikipedia, it was never released -- and I got a [cough] legal copy of it to listen to. Man, is it good! He does some rappin', some singin', and it features more live instruments than the usual Tribe Called Quest stuff. Sounds a billion times better than anything else I've heard all year.

What does that say about today's hip-hop if I am more into a bootleg from 2002?

  1. I enjoy older hip hop and rap much more than the latest. And from the ratings and sales reports lately - I'm not the only one. I'm going to have to go, er, um, find that album. :)
